Tithing to the Community and Beyond!

Are you looking for a place of service? You will find it here! We are located in a neighborhood of need, with many dreams that need fulfilling and a facility that allows limitless opportunities to serve. Come dream with us that we may cause a groundswell of hope here, using the power of God.

We work at the local level with a Food Pantry for those in need. One section of the pantry is devoted to the homeless with no means of cooking. The second is for those who just need food. We feed them; we pray with them; we love them because there is dignity and grace in both giving and receiving. The Food Pantry is open 10 AM to noon Monday and Wednesday. We are blessed to receive regular donations but we can always use more, to feed more and stay open longer hours. If this ministry speaks to your soul then click the “Donate” icon located on the right side of the page. Help us keep the pantry well stocked and open.

We hold an annual holiday potluck for the neighborhood. We provide a good meal and crafts for all to enjoy and a photographer. We capture a record of the fun and give everyone a photo card. At last years gala, a man stopped to take some food to go but stayed, participated, ate and brought home dinner for his wife. Food and fellowship, here you are loved!

We also reach out globally. As members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Pacific Southwest Region, we collect money for blankets and supplies for those displaced by disaster. Through our donation to Church World Service we help build homes in Mexico. We fill shoeboxes with toys and clothing every fall for Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse) providing the only Christmas gift some of these children will receive. We don’t stop there! We want to find new ways to serve and bring hope to those in need. Please help us by clicking the “Donate” icon.
