Monday (3/18): Board Meeting at 1:00 which includes a conversation about what Reverend Heather Miner can do to be a better pastor to you. This conversation was initiated by me and is part of my discipline to be the best minister I can be.
Monday (3/18): 4 - 7 p.m. is our Christian Women's Fellowship Group, meeting at Wanda's house. If you would like to come, please contact, Monica, our president on Sunday. She can give you the details.
* I am exploring beginning a second group. If you want to be part of a Women's Fellowship, let ne know, I'm collecting names.
Wednesday (3/2): Family Café experiences Lent together, as family (5 - 7 p.m.). We will be talking about what is Lent, planting seeds, and have a time of worship where we give our wrongs up to God. Family Café has morphed into a true intergenerational church family experience. With the help of Sean's young people from Preparing for a Degree, Gloria's food comes out hot and ready. Annette's decorations delight (and get a second use in the community room, set up for our after church fellowship). Come and experience an evening with the Family of God!
Choir continues to meet every Wednesday, 7 - 8:30, except April 3rd. We are preparing for Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter.
"The Men's Group" ( April 19th): New to NLBCC 10 - 11:30: Yes, indeed! We have a group. The men have chosen to meet the 3rd Friday of the month at church in the Community Room. They will focus their conversation around a favorite scripture in the Bible, collect some loose change to make a change, and plan a few outings. Charlie Bradshaw is ably shepherding the group.
Good Friday Worship ( April 19th): 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
